Inclusion Assistant (NJC Grade 6) 18 hours per week, Wednesday - Friday, inclusive rate £15.84-£16.61 p/hour.

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Assistant (Grade 6) to join our team. This is a key role within our school, reflecting our commitment to ensuring that every child is supported to thrive, both academically and personally.

 

About the Role

This role has been designed to strengthen our inclusive practice across the school. You will work closely with a small group of children with additional needs, acting as a consistent and trusted adult for them and their families, alongside our SENCo and Inclusion Manager and with class teachers in adapting inclusive in class learning.

 

You will:

Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND, social, emotional and mental health needs, and those requiring additional pastoral support

Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and external professionals

Work alongside the SENCo to develop and implement personalised support plans and strategies

Help pupils to access learning, develop independence and regulate their emotions

Contribute to improving attendance and engagement for vulnerable pupils

Support staff in delivering high-quality, inclusive classroom practice

 

We are looking for someone who:

Is a skilled and empathetic communicator, able to build trust with children and families

Has experience of working with children with additional needs

Is proactive, reflective and committed to inclusive education

Can work both independently and as part of a team

Shares our commitment to high expectations and strong relationships

Wraparound Care Assistant (NJC Grade 3) 4-8 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 3-5pm, inclusive rate £14.40 p/hour.

Closing date: Friday 22nd May

We are looking for a wraparound assistant for our popular and growing wraparound club. You will be responsible for running fun activities with the children and looking after them during the club hours. Some flexibility may be required when there are busier days or events, but this will always be communicated in advance. If you have children at the school, then free spaces at STAR club are available. 

The role will be for 3-4pm or 3-5pm Monday to Friday
