Literacy is at the heart of everything we do.

The children at St. Augustine's experience a high quality, memorable curriculum that is underpinned by high quality language and interaction. Speaking and listening is at the centre of learning and integrated through every subject.

The children experience dedicated phonics (early reading), reading, writing, handwriting and spelling support throughout the school and this develops into their 'Literacy'.
